If you're like most people, you probably woke up this morning, got out of bed, brushed your teeth, clipped, trimmed, & shaved all necessary areas. You also showered, lotioned/oiled yourself up. Then you put on some makeup (for those of you who wear it), fixed your hair, & sprayed/splashed on you some sweet scents. And of course … you're wearing your best outfit. Soon after, you're out the door to engage the world again.
You Put Yourself Through A lot to Clean & Beautify
Your Outer-Body.
But How Clean & Beautiful Is Your Inner-Body?
Some of you might take additional steps to enhance your outer-body by being more nutritionally conscious of what you eat, going to the gym & workout, or jog a few miles to increase the strength & endurance of your outer-body.
You Put Yourself Through A lot to Improve the
Strength & Stamina of Your Outer Body.
But How Strong & Durable Is Your Inner-Body?
Your outer-body is clean & beautiful, strong & durable. Along with your looks, you got the possessions & status. You got the trifecta. Certainly your outer-image meets the world standard of beauty, success, & power. Right? So then why are you so miserable?
Praise from the world is a curse. You got praised, now you're cursed. Correction, the world didn't praise you, it praised your image. And actually, your image isn't really yours. It belongs to the world. The world created & set the standard of image – meaning the world owns the copyright, patent, license, & trademark to image.
There's a price to pay if you desire to use & wear the world's image. The price is you must become a slave to EXPECTATIONS – the curse. You are expected to carry the responsibility of maintaining the appearance, possessions, & status of the world's image. When you fail to carry out your responsibilities, you lose recognition & acceptance. You become invisible & non-existent to the world.
Many in mankind's history who wore the image fell victim to the curse. As a result, those victims took themselves down destructive paths that often led them to their deaths, &/or the deaths of others. Many of those people wanted to escape. Escape from the weight of expectations. To be free from the curse. But some of these folks saw only one way out … death. And other folks chose another way to cope with carrying the curse. These folks chose to use their image to abuse others by being manipulative, & having a superiority attitude. The third option was to take off the world's image & cease to exist. That was no option for many of these folks. They saw that option as going back to being irrelevant, alone, & forgotten. They rather die.
Many who have it all are miserable. And many who chase after it all are stressed. When you have it all, it's often too heavy to carry. And when you chase after it, it's too elusive for you to catch.
"So what then?" "How do I escape from my stress & misery so that I can live a free fulfilled life?" you ask. It begins with you turning away from the chase. And refusing to carry something that isn't yours nor fits you. Get rid of the world’s image, & take hold of your imagination.
Break the Curse to Breathe Again
Image Versus Imagination
What power enabled humanity to travel on oceans to explore lands foreign to their own? Was it the power of image or imagination?
What power enabled humanity to travel on lands to explore greater distances of terrain in a shorter period of time? Was it the power of image or imagination?
What power enabled humanity to travel above land & water to explore the entire planet in a shorter period of time? Was it the power of image or imagination?
You know the answer to all three questions. Simply put, get rid of image, & take hold of your imagination to flex your superpowers. You’ll be far more amazing than just being a mere image.
Key Takeaway from this Blog Post
Exercise your power of imagination, & the world of possibilities will expand to you beyond measure.
